Summary
Summary
Two dimensional echocardiography and Doppler ultrasound was used to study haemodynamic changes in four cases of hydrops fetalis associated with nuchal cystic hygroma without other structural anomalies. Normal cardiac output was found in three of the hydropic fetuses. In the fourth fetus abnormal haemodynamic changes indicating congestive heart failure were present, probably induced by supraventricular tachycardia.
