Summary
The case records of obstetric hysterectomies performed at St Richard's Hospital, Chichester over 18 years (1972 to 1990), were reviewed. Altogether there were II hysterectomies. Nine babies were alive and healthy and two were stillborn. There were no maternal deaths.
