Vaginoplasty using amnion graft: new surgical technique using the laparoscopic transillumination light

Summary

Twelve patients with congenital absence of vagina were treated by vaginoplasty using human amnion graft. Good functional result was achieved. We describe a new surgical technique. The creation of the neo-vagina in the recto vesical septum was carried out under the laparoscopic transillumination light.
