Effect of 2,6-cis-Diphenylhexamethylcyclotetrasiloxane on the Reproductive Organs of Male Mice

Abstract

Mice treated with tetrasiloxane, 20 and 40 mg/kg/day, showed lesions in the reproductive organs, cytological changes in the pituitary glands, and changes in levels of cholesterol, phos-phomonoesterases, transaminases, 5′-nucleotidase, lactic and isocitric dehydrogenases, and ATPase.
