Abstract

A primary meningioma was found in the orbit in association with an identical tumor in the temporal fossa. There was no evidence of connection or bony invasion between the two tumors. The case represents two separate ectopic meningiomas and supports the theory of sequestered arachnoid rests as the etiology of these tumors.
