Abstract

The ophthalmological findings in four cases of the w.e.b.i.n.o. byndronie are presented. The clinical features suggest that the syndrome, of wall-eyed bilateral inter-nuclear ophthalmoplegia is caused by a lesion in the pons. The associated abnormality of vergence eye movements suggests that these are also generated in the pons.
