Abstract

A 60-year-old man presented with a reversible acquired binocular vertical pendular nystagmus following brainstem hemorrhage. Other oculomotor signs consisted of bobbing, bilateral horizontal gaze palsies and skew deviation on down-gaze. A pontine lesion was detected by CT and MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging). Nystagmus was illustrated by EOG recording.
