Unilateral upgaze palsy with ipsilateral collicular haemorrhage: A case report

Abstract

A patient with a left upgaze palsy who had CT localization of the lesion to the ipsilateral superior colliculus is described. A discussion of unilateral vertical gaze mechanisms and the role of the superior colliculus in eye movement control is presented.
