Neuroparalytic keratitis following dental anesthesia

Abstract

A case of transient brainstem syndrome with a palsy of the whole sensoric trigemi-nal nerve complicating dental anesthesia is described. The only remaining sign was a neuroparalytic keratitis. Different hypotheses regarding the etiology of this event are discussed.
