Abstract
The fourth annual Ocular Motor Symposium, organized by Dr. Stephen E. Thurston, was held in San Francisco on October 18, 1987, one day prior to the 112th annual meeting of the American Neurological Association. Fifteen papers covering basic and clinical aspects of ocular motility were presented. The next symposium, arranged by Dr. Thurston, will be held in Philadelphia, October 2, 1988 (again in conjunction with the ANA meeting). The Clinical Eye Movement Society, which exists to coordinate eye movement meetings, organizes these symposia. Individuals wishing to join should contact Dr. Robert B. Daroff, Department of Neurology, University Hospitals of Cleveland, Cleveland, OH 44106, U.S.A.
The Clinical Eye Movement Society also participated in the 1988 Neuro-Ophthalmology Congress May 6 through May 12 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
