Abstract
Myasthenia gravis often produces weakness of the orbicularis oculi, levator palpebral and extraocular muscles. Unilateral and isolated involvement of the orbicularis oculi muscle, with sparing of the ipsilateral facial muscles, has not been previously reported to our knowledge. The clinical history and examination of two cases of unilateral, isolated orbicularis oculi muscle weakness suggestive of myasthenia gravis are presented.
