Abstract
The results of ocular motor examinations in a patient with a frontal lobe haemorrhage of the right hemisphere are presented. Different types of saccades and smooth pursuit eye movements were tested, and repetitive eye scanning of a static visual scene was two-dimensionally monitored. In the latter experiments no eye movements to the left visual field were found, suggesting the existence of a unilateral visual exploration deficit without a visual hemineglect syndrome, due to an isolated deficiency of a saccadic subtype.
