Abstract

The authors present a case of temporary acquired ocular motor apraxia in a 44-year-old patient. He had severe disturbances in the generation of both saccadic and smooth pursuit eye movements, in the horizontal as well as the vertical plane. CT-scanning revealed bilateral lesions in the fronto-parietal region which were AIDS related. This cause of acquired ocular motor apraxia has not been reported earlier.
