Abstract

Familial dysautonomia (Riley-Day syndrome) is characterized by both sensory and autonomic dysfunction. The authors describe Finnish twins without Jewish ancestry displaying all the criteria for the Riley-Day syndrome. The twins also had cardiological findings which have not been reported previously in connection with the Riley-Day syndrome.
