Abstract

Oculosympathetic spasm is a rare condition caused by cervical sympathetic chain stimulation. We describe a patient with an apical lung tumour presenting with ipsilateral facial flushing and raised intraocular pressure which subsided following radiotherapy. This is an unusual mode of presentation for a thoracic tumour and our case highlights the clinical significance of oculosympathetic spasm.
