Orbital and intracranial spread from an infraorbital nerve neurilemmoma

Abstract

The authors report an 11 -year-old boy who presented with intermittent diplopia which was secondary to the mechanical effects of a slowly growing neurilemmoma arising from the infraorbital nerve. The patient developed an intracranial recurrence of the tumour which was subsequently completely excised.
