Abstract
During an extremely short art-creating period, artists may not only acquire the skills of Masters of past centuries, but also fluently produce original work while setting characteristic trends, enjoyed by future generations of art lovers and artists, which result in specific art schools. Art history reports many outstanding artists who never reached the age of 40: for example, Masaccio, whose genius dominated the entire Quattrocento and led the way to the Late Renaissance, Baroque Masters Raphael and Carravaggio, and later on Seurat, Toulouse-Lautrec, Ensor and many others including Rik Wouters and Vincent-William Van Gogh.
