Abstract
We examined a patient with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and cytomegalovirus (CMV) retinitis who developed bilateral internuclear ophthalmoplegia (INO) CMV papillitis and encephalitis. The patient died two months later after having received ganciclovir over a period of eight months.
