Abstract
A case of vaginismus is presented with a rather unusual outcome. Finally the problem is overcome by an operation. Attention is paid to the interaction between the partners. Sometimes this can be an important aspect in the cause of a sexual problem and/or in maintaining it. Attention is also paid to the therapist whose reaction in a way delayed the diagnosis and treatment process.
