Abstract

Centrioles seem to be an unusual finding in vertebrate liver parenchymal cells. They have been reported in interphasic hepatocyte nuclei of rat by Wheatley (Experientia 24:1157, 1968) and of bat and chicken by Tanuma and Ohata (Arch Histol Japan 41:377,1978).
