Cisplatin-Based Chemotherapy in a Renal Transplant Recipient with Metastatic Germ Cell Testicular Cancer

Abstract

Reports on toxicity and possible efficacy of antineoplastic drugs remain sparse in immunosuppressed renal transplant recipients for other tumours than lymphomas. A case of an embryonal germ cell cancer of the testis successfully treated with cisplatin-based combination chemotherapy and radiotherapy is therefore presented.
