Encephalopathy Complicating Burn Injuries in Children: Two Cases Showing Reversible EEG Changes

Abstract

Two cases of late encephalopathy in children with severe burns are reported. In both there were marked EEG changes which have subsequently disappeared. The encephalopathy has not left any lasting neurological or mental changes. Previous literature on the subject is briefly reviewed.
