An Operation for the Correction of Snub-Nose Deformity

Pages 64-66 | Received 15 Jan 1973, Published online: 08 Jul 2009

Abstract

Snub-nose deformity is corrected by adding a composite graft from the concha of the ear to the nasal septum. Gaps between the upper and lower lateral cartilages are simultaneously covered with full-thickness skin in continuity with the composite graft. The operative procedure is described in detail. Eight cases have been treated without loss of graft. Results are shown.
