Irrigation Treatment in Split-Thickness Skin Grafting of Intractable Leg Ulcers

Abstract

Continuous irrigation with saline through a felt dressig was used following mesh split-skin grafting of intractable leg ulcers. Antibiotics were added to the irrigation fluied in certain cases. Effective drainage of the grafted area was achieved and no signs of infection were seen.
