Later this year ‘JMET’ will begin to cover, in ‘News, trends & techniques', the results of the DHSS's new evaluations of electro medical equipment. Coverage will start with a report on a recent issue of the Department's ‘Health Equipment Information’ on defibrillators.
The editors wish to acknowledge the Department's help in setting up this new feature.
'Health Equipment Information’ is published several times a year and is available free ro all NHS employees (individuals must order their copies through their health authority). The journal is on sale to non-NHS staff at $3.00 per copy; annual subscriptions are also offered. Orders should be sent to the DHSS Leaflets Unit, PO Box 21, Stanmore, Middlesex HA7 1AY, UK. The Department is anxious to receive feedback from ‘HE1’ readers: comments on particular issues, suggestions for the future etc.
