Electrocardiograph evaluation

Abstract

In Vol. 7, No. 2 (March/April 1983) we published a report on a comparative evaluation of a number of electrocardiographs, which was carried out within the Oxfordshire Regional Health Authority and sponsored by the DHSS.

Recently, details of a further four instruments have been released. These are the Cardi-o-life 8823, Fukuda Denshi FK11, the Saitron 101 and the Toshiba 01S. ‘Health Equipment Information’ ('HEI') No. 112, published in July 1983, contains full reports on these, together with short revises of the following which were the subject of previous evaluation reports and which are still available: Cambridge VS-550, Cardiopan CR 100, Cardisuny 501F, Hellige Simplescriptor EK 31, Hewlett-Packard 1500B, Nikon Kohden 5151E, San Ei 1E21 and Siemens Cardiostat 701.
