Abstract

The evaluation report, the first on nursing incubators, is part of the continuing programme of equipment evaluation sponsored by the UK Departments of Health, and was carried out in SCBUs (Special Care Baby Units) at the University Hospital of Wales and St David's Hospital, Cardiff (Professor Gray), and also in the Department of Medical Physics and Bioengineering, Cardiff Royal Infirmary (Mr J. P. McCarthy) and the British Standards Institution Test House, Hemel Hempstead, UK.
