Abstract
As part of the continuing comparative evaluation programme of medical equipment, sponsored by the UK Health Departments, the evaluation of ECG monitors is being carried out by the staff of the Regional Engineer's Department of the Northern Regional Health Authority.
The following is based on extracts from ‘Health Equipment Information’ (‘HEI)’ Number 173, published in August 1987, and contains evaluation reports on six further ECG monitors. These are the Albury Life-Trace 18B, the Cardiac Recorders CR51, the Kontron Micromon 7142, the Physio-Control VSM3, the Rigel 304 and the Simonsen and Weel 2021-05 Diascope 2.
