You have solicited the views of safety and standards experts on the paper by Ezawa and Futami [1].
My main comment would be that there are considerable differences of viewpoint and practice between different countries on the role of potential equalization for medical equipment. The authors correctly observe that the subject has been discussed in IEC for several years (I would say rather for many years), without conclusion.
