Abstract
Procedures are described for the preparation of cyanogen bromide and maleyl peptides of the α and β chains of human Hemoglobin. These relatively large peptides have facilitated application of automated sequencing techniques to determine mutations fn the primary structure of abnormal hemoglobins.
