1. G. van den Brink1: “Diplacusis and threshold audiogram”

Pages 439-442 | Published online: 07 Jul 2009

Abstract

In this paper the results of measurements of hearing thresholds and diplacusis and the relation that appears to exist between these two phenomena are discussed. Much information is available in literature on pathological cases of diplacusis (deviations of 10% to 20% or even more, if expressed in frequency differences for equal pitch), which usually are related with hearing losses. Much less information, however, is given on diplacusis of normal subjects.
