Abstract

Presenting complex acoustic stimuli (impure beats) to the ear of a cat, caracteristic modifications of the CMP can be seen. The impure beats are transformed either in pur beats or in beats who are more impure than the original stimulus. We think that this phenomenon is due to peripherical and central regulations in the acoustic system.
