Intenderet hyperventilation som terapeutisk metode

Pages 449-452 | Accepted 23 Feb 1989, Published online: 12 Jul 2009

Abstract

A case of neurosis previously treated traditionally with poor results was treated with six hyperventilation sessions, which is a simple but powerful breathing technique for bringing to consciousness old unconscious trauma, including birth trauma, so as to process it, for healing bodily ailments and for dropping old self-sabotaging patterns. The method is described, and models of explanation are shown, including biochemical, brainphysiologic, and psychologic angles of incidence.
