Good Psychopharmacology Practice is suggested as a concept delineating some important activities to guarantee the quality of psychopharmacological treatment, including information about efficacy and side effects to patients and relatives, postgraduate teaching of physicians, standardized clinical assessment of outcome and side effects, drug reference programmes, medical audit, and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring.
