Abstract
Arginine-vasopressin as well as luteinizing hormone (LH)/follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) stimulate progesterone release in superfused human granulosa cells. Extracellular administration of inositol trisphosphate (10−6 mol/l) or calcium ions (10−4 mol/l) mimics the action of both arginine-vasopressin and LH/FSH and evokes progesterone secretion in superfused granulosa cells.
