Abstract
Matthew Bourke, a fifth year medical student at the University of Adelaide, South Australia, is the recipient of the first award of the RANZCP Psychiatry Elective Scholarship for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander medical students. Matthew was presented with the Scholarship Certificate and a cheque for $2,500 by the College President, Dr Janice Wilson, in Adelaide on 19 June 1998.
