Abstract

Restless legs syndrome (RLS) was observed in six patients receiving psychotropics. All pgysical illnesses possibly associated with RLS were absent. RLS occurred during psychotropic treatments and subsided after the shift of the psychotropic administration time and/or the reduction or discontinuation of the psychotropic. Psychotropics diagnosed to induce RLS were levomepromazine, halo-peridol, mianserin, lithium carbonate, and sulpiride.
