Since publication of their review article in Critical Reviews in Toxicology, 40(3):245-285, the authors have informed us of the following:
In this review article, a significant error was found, i.e. in the reporting of the US EPA cancer classification of Dichlorvos. An outdated review from 1987 was quoted inadvertently. In 2000, EPA OPP (3/1/00) issued their Cancer Classification of Dichlorvos as ‘Suggestive Evidence of Carcinogenicity, but Not Sufficient to Assess Human Carcinogenic Potential’.
