Statement of Retraction

We, the Editors and Publisher of Leukemia & Lymphoma, have retracted the following article:

Liu F, Gao L, Jing Y, Xu YY, Ding Y, Zhou MH, Ma C, Li MY, Sun JZ, Wang LL and Yu L. Detection and clinical significance of gene rearrangements in Chinese patients with adult acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Leuk Lymphoma 2013;54:1521-1526. doi:10.3109/10428194.2012.754888.

Figure 1 within the manuscript has been revealed to be a composition of different gel electrophoregrams from multiple experiments, with the composition not disclosed to reviewers or readers. Furthermore, the authors were asked to provide the original images of each gel used to create Figure 1 but were unable to produce all the original data. The current figure 1 is not supported by the existing data and the authors are unable to repeat their experiments.

We have been informed in our decision-making by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on retractions.

The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as “Retracted”.
