Abstract

Primary cutaneous B-cell lymphomas are malignant B-cell lymphomas that clinically originate in the skin. These lymphomas have a different clinical behavior and prognosis than primary node-based lymphomas of the same histologic subtype. Within the group of primary cutaneous B-cell lymphomas some well-defined clinicopathologic entities can be recognized including primary cutaneous follicle center cell lymphomas, primary cutaneous immunocytomas and cutaneous intravascular B-cell lymphomas. In this review the clinical and histologic features of these lymphomas will be discussed and guidelines for the treatment will be presented.
