Prognostic Value of B-Symptoms in Low-Grade Non-Hodgkin's Lymphomas

Abstract

The prognostic value of B-symptoms in non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHL) is still a matter of some controversy. Although the majority of reports found an adverse effect of B-symptoms on survival, ^1-5 others did not confirm this finding.^6-8 As this can influence the treatment decision especially in low-grade (LG) NHL in which different therapeutic approaches exist^6.9 we would like to contribute our results.
