Objective

To propose a hypothesis for fibromyalgia syndrome [FMS].

Methods

Review of the literature, patients' comments, and personal observations.

Results

Discovery of possible causal relationship between FMS and vitamin D.

Conclusion

FMS may be a preventable and/or treatable disease.
