Abstract

The nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide dimers (NAD)2 obtained by electrochemical reduction of NAD+ are oxidized by adriamycin in anaerobic photocatalyzed reaction yielding NAD+ and 7-deoxyadriamyci-none. Under the same conditions NADH is not oxidized.
