Notes
1 It is interesting to note the semantics, their implications and associated valences that have been created in the broad area of substance use and its interventions. Substance users, who represent a heterogeneous and not a homogeneous population, and who can be, and often are categorized pejoratively as “craving,” as part of their behavior, whereas non-users, who are not stigmatized have “desires.” Editor's note.
