William R. Miller

William R. Miller, Ph.D., is Emeritus Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at the University of New Mexico. He received his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Oregon in 1976 and has published over 50 books and monographs and 400 articles and chapters focused primarily on the treatment of substance use disorders and the psychology of change. He is a recipient of the Jellinek Memorial Award for excellence in alcoholism.
