Inhalant Abuse in Canada

Pages 1835-1840 | Published online: 03 Jul 2009

Abstract

Inhalant use in Canada is a serious problem in some Inuit communities, but it is a decreasing problem among students. Younger people tend to use more often than do older teens. Inhalant users are more often delinquent and have more drug problems than non-users. Inhalant use is greatest on Inuit reservations undergoing rapid social change.
