Available Resources for Investigating Substance Use among Homeless, Immigrant, and Refugee Populations

Abstract

In addition to the literature reviewed in the eight papers included in this special issue, this section provides a listing of agencies and organizations that may provide information useful in researching questions related to substance use and misuse among displaced persons. Many of these organizations maintain internet web sites that can provide immediate access to a variety of materials and, in many cases, linkage to other relevant organizations and resources. A web site has also been initiated as a resource dedicated specifically to addressing addiction issues among displaced peoples (available at the following address: http://www.srl.uic.edu/Rsuadp).
