Women—partners in interprofessional care

Abstract

This article outlines some of the implications for interprofessional care of including disabled women and women carers as equal partners in the provision of community and primary care seruices. Reference is made to the importance of recognising the discrimination against women in many of the current approaches to such partnerships.
