Abstract

A new cellular test (ALCAT) for food sensitivity is reported in a group of patients suffering from irritable bowel syndrome. The test predicts foods which would produce a problem on food challenge and also a group of foods with no reactivity which would form the basis of an elimination diet. These predictions of the test have been successfully investigated and statistically assessed.
