Laparoscopic cholangiography: An easier technique

Summary

The place of routine cholangiography during laparoscopic cholecystectomy is debated. Most would agree, however, that cholangiography is necessary in situations where ductal anatomy is confusing. A simple technique is described using a Twohy needle and a ureteric catheter, both available in most operating theatres.
